First towable at one of our camp outs
Our State Campout was well-attended. We had 24 RVs including one towable, and two members arrived by car. Attendees were from all three of our state chapters. We welcomed new members: Don & Jean Griffin, Ed & Kathy Pate, Steve & Robyn Roscoe, Reed & Sandy Stirling and Joe & Patsy Wilbur (Minnie Towable owners).
On Thursday evening, we enjoyed dinner out at restaurants in Lebanon. Friday evening’s meal was catered by Meme’s Country Cookin. Saturday’s dinner was chili prepared by the Vol State Winnies officers. We all enjoyed eating and socializing at these meals.
On Friday, Irene Craig showed some of the women how to make soda can tab lanyards. Two of the men made hatbands with the soda can tabs. On Saturday, a group gathered with Fran Surles to discuss ideas for GNR tent decorations. A number of decorations were made.
Some members enjoyed shopping and visiting Lebanon.
All too soon it was time for our Sunday “Grab and Go” breakfast and “good byes”.
